Members of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team spent their Sunday with members of the Bradford youth soccer community at the McDowell Field House.

"It's great to see players giving back to the game they love and the community they're a part of while here at Pitt-Bradford," Head Coach Melissa Lincoln said. "It's an awesome way to encourage kids in the community to keep playing and working hard to become the best they can. As college athletes, they're role models for these kids. I hope we can continue to build relationships within the community and the youth soccer in the area. I think it's a great experience for both the kids as well as the student-athletes."

The day began with the Panthers speaking to youth players about their experience playing soccer through youth, high school and the collegiate levels.

They then split into two teams and played a fun pick-up match.

Pitt-Bradford players that volunteered were senior Courtney Shade, and freshmen Katie Anderton and Emily Royea.
