MOUNT ALOYSIUS VOLLEYBALL HOSTS "PINK OUT" GAME

MOUNT ALOYSIUS VOLLEYBALL HOSTS "PINK OUT" GAME

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mount Aloysius women's volleyball hosted a Pink Out game on October 15 against Penn St. Altoona to raise money and awareness for this terrible disease. They joined forces with Windber Medical Center’s Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center to help spread the word about early detection. The Lady Mounties recognized those in their lives who have had breast cancer and the team dedicated the game to them. Highlights of the Pink Out Game included giveaways, refreshments and raffles. Pink Out t-shirts were sold prior to the game. Over $4,450 was raised and donated to the Windber Medical Center’s Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center.
