Pittsburgh, Pa- The La Roche women's volleyball team was unfortunately defeated by Alfred St. in the home game Saturday afternoon. The final score of the game was 0-3 (17-25, 11-25, 17-25). Alfred St. had 41 kills to La Roche's 20 kills, a killing % of 0.299 to 0.046, 37 assists to 19, and 46 digs to 38. On the other hand, La Roche had 2 blocks to Alfred St. 's 1. LRUVB owns a record of 6-15.

Alfred St. 's Kiara Perkins had the match high of kills with 11 while Racquel Gerstenberger had 10 kills. Nayomie Ferrer had the match high of assists with 35. Kiara Perkins got 10 digs, Racquel Gerstenberger got 10, and Nayomie Ferrer got 12.

La Roche's Senior Outside Hitter Bethany Nulph (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) held the team high of 9 kills. Junior Setter Cassidy Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) made 7 assists while Sophomore Setter Krystal Adna (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) made 8. Senior Liberio Sydney Herzer (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) got 13 digs.

The next game will be a home game this Tuesday, Oct. 26th at 7pm against Pitt Greensburg.
