PITTSBURGH, PA - From inside the La Roche Kerr Fitness Center, the Redhawks battled Carnegie Mellon. The opposing school is a tough team to beat and has caused LRU to struggle in past years. Unfortunately, the Redhawks were unable to defeat Carnegie Mellon. The final score was 89-55, Carnegie. 

The match wasn't without highlights, Makayla Abram shot 4-10 in field goals and earned two assists. Machia Hairston, a proven star Redhawk, shot 6-12 in field goals and 3-7 in free throws, earning 15 total points for LRU. Hairston netted the most points overall for La Roche. 

Janessa Goins also assisted the Redhawks with two blocks and eight points. 

The Redhawks resume their season on December 10th at Franciscan.
