HAMBURG, NY - Women's Basketball scraped by with an overtime win this afternoon against the Hilbert Hawks. 

Hilbert's defense was clever, and as a result, was able to shut down one of La Roche's leading scorers in Makayla Abram. 

Throughout the contest, there were 6 lead changes, and 3 ties throughout 4 regular periods and one overtime period. 

In the end, it was the made free throws by Danajah Sanders, who totaled 26 points in tonight's contest, and Jazmine Dunn. 

Once again, Machia Hairson proved to be the rock for the Redhawks and netted 13 points, a large contributor to the team's 65-64 overtime win. 

La Roche is on the road once more to face Penn State-Altoona, the only conference competitor the team has not faced yet this year. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 PM.
