Women's Basketball Hosts AMCC Game of the Week vs. Pitt Greensburg

McCANDLESS, Pa. - La Roche women's basketball play their final game of 2019 against Pitt Greensburg this Saturday, December 21st at the Kerr in the AMCC Game of the Week. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. proceeding the men's game. The Redhawks are the only team in the AMCC still undefeated against the conference at 4-0.

La Roche News and Notes (4-4, AMCC: 4-0)

  • Women's basketball has won four of their last five games after dropping three straight to start the season

  • Sophomore Dasja Anderson nearly recorded a double-double posting 12 points and a game-high 8 rebounds; The former third team AMCC All-Conference selection has scored 10 or more points and corralled five or more rebounds in four of the Redhawks last five games
  • Sophomore Danajah Sanders put up 13 points and dished out 3 assists

Pitt Greensburg News and Notes (4-6, AMCC: 2-3)

  • The Bobcats have lost three of their last four games, all against the conference, by an average margin of only 5.3 points
  • Pitt-Greensburg currently leads the conference in offensive rebounds (17.5) as well as total rebounds (46.9) and have outrebounded its opponents in all but three games so far this season
  • 5'7" Junior Nadege Durand has averaged a double-double this season at 12.5 points per game (1st on team) and 10.6 rebounds per game (2nd in AMCC)
