PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche women's soccer team played a tough game, but weren't able to keep Mt. Aloysius from winning a tight 2-1 match on Wednesday afternoon. MAC led the first period with one goal, but in the second LRU caught up with a clapper of a goal by Carola Corbi. That wasn't enough though as Mt. Aloysius took back the lead and ended the game taking the match.

• Mt. Aloysius opens the first period with a 1-0 goal from Jordan Mason (first goal of season) and an assist from fellow teammate Kourtney Walls.

• La Roche's Bella Costanzo is swapped out of goal for Casey Semenko in the second period.

• Carola Corbi scores LRU's first goal of the game with an assist by Alondra Gonzalez to tie up the match 1-1.

• MAC comes back with a last grab to take the game as Kourtney Walls takes the score to 2-1 and giving the team the win.

• Mt. Aloysius improves to 9-7-0 while the Redhawks go to 4-9-2.
