
ALFRED, N.Y. – La Roche men's lacrosse was unable to get past Alfred State on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Pioneers, 25-6.
La Roche opened the game's scoring at 12:22 when Ben Cadamore found the back of the net, unassisted.
Alfred State would go on to score five of the remaining six goals in the frame, with Nolan Lynam picking up the second Redhawk goal of the quarter.
The Pioneers would go on to score four of the five, second quarter goals, with the lone La Roche tally coming from Robert Johnson and at the half, Alfred State was up, 9-3.
Out of the break, the Pioneers hit the Redhawks for seven goals, while La Roche scored a pair, both by Nolan Lynam.
The fourth quarter was 9-1 in favor of Alfred State and Lynam again scored the goal for the Redhawks, his fourth of the game.
La Roche ended the game with 32 shots and 13 shots on goal, with Lynam leading the team with 17 shots and seven on goal.
Goalie Connor Radecki faced 58 shots in the contest and came up with 33 saves.
La Roche's next final game of the five-game trip is on Tuesday, Apr. 8 when they face Mount Vernon Nazarene. Faceoff is set for 12 p.m.
