ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team will host No. 4 Penn State Altoona on Wednesday for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) semifinal game beginning at 3:30 p.m.

No. 1 Behrend News & Notes

* The Lions are competing for their 15th overall AMCC Championship and first since 2018
* Behrend has won 14 of the 23 AMCC Championships since the inception of the conference in 1997
* The Lions had a first-round bye for earning the No. 1 seed and the AMCC regular-season championship

* The Lions defeated No. 5 La Roche 3-2 in overtime in the quarterfinals on Saturday to advance
* Mallorie Smith scored two goals for Altoona, including the game winner in the 95th minute
* Smith leads the team with 11 goals and seven assists for 29 points
* Smith and Sadie McConnell have combined for 17 goals and 11 assists in the eight wins for Altoona
* The Lions enter the semifinals with an 8-9 record
