Panthers Return to KOA Arena to Host Medaille

Bradford, Pa. -- After winning 13 straight matches, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team has hit a bump in the road, dropping two of its last three matches in AMCC play. On Wednesday, the Panthers will look to get back in the right direction, as they host Medaille at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena.

The Panthers are 15-5 on the season with a 3-2 record in AMCC play. They are currently in a tie for third with Penn State-Altoona in the AMCC standings. The two teams tied for third met over the weekend in Altoona, with the Panthers falling to the Lions 3-1.

Senior Emily Cleveland has been the driving force of the Panther offensive attack, registering 263 kills, which leads the AMCC. Cleveland also leads the conference in kills per set, as she averaged 3.93. Freshman Olivia Reese has had a solid debut campaign opposite of Cleveland, as she is third in the conference with 198 kills. Tabitha Walker leads the AMCC in assists, as the setter has picked up 605 on the season.

The Mavericks enter the match with a 4-13 overall record, and a 1-3 record in AMCC play. They lost a pair of games in straight sets this weekend, falling to Nazareth and RIT in a tri-meet. Medaille is led by Halle Bogas, who has 108 kills in 13 matches played this season. Haley Kennedy leads the Mavericks with 343 assists, while Baylee Romano leads the defensive effort with 135 digs.

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena.
