ERIE, Pa. – The No. 10 Penn State Behrend men's soccer team will travel to Buffalo, NY to take on the Medaille Mavericks in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week today at 6 p.m.

* Behrend remains No. 2 in the USC Great Lakes Region and is currently 10th in the USC Top 25 National Poll
* The Lions are the only team in Division III untied and undefeated
* Behrend improves its winning streak to 11 straight games with a 3-1 decision over Franciscan on Saturday
* Richard Blanchard (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) is tied for 12th in NCAA Division III statistics in total assists with seven
* Nick Schwarzel (South Park, PA/South Park) was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week for scoring the eventual game winner vs. Franciscan and helping the Lions post their sixth shutout of the season on Wednesday vs. D'Youville
* The Lions moved from No. 25 in the D3Soccer.com Poll into 21st after a 2-0 week

* The Mavericks are 5-4-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the AMCC
* After tying Franciscan (0-0) on Sept. 28, Medaille has won two straight over AMCC opponents
* The Mavericks defeated Alfred State (3-0) and Penn State Altoona (4-1)
* Mitchell Ali, the current AMCC Offensive Player of the Week, leads the conference with 11 goals and 25 points
* Ali tallied three goals and one assist in the pair of wins last week

Series History:

* Behrend and Medaille are the only two undefeated teams in the AMCC
* This is a rematch of the 2018 AMCC Championship
