Panthers to Face Pitt-Greensburg on Senior Day

Bradford, Pa -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team will host Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday for their final regular-season home game. Along with closing out their home slate, the Panthers will celebrate Senior Day with a pre-game ceremony.

Prior to the match, the Panthers will take some time to recognize their two graduating seniors, Emily Treat and Emily Cleveland. Treat is in her 3rd competitive season with the team. Serving as a defensive specialist, she has tallied 103 digs in her career. She is a 3-time AMCC Peak Performer and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society. Cleveland will graduate as one of the program's most decorated players. She is a 3-time All-AMCC honoree, 2017 AMCC Newcomer of the Year, and 2019 AMCC Co-Player of the Year. She was the 6th player in program history to reach the 1,000 kill milestone. She is also a 2x AMCC All-Academic team honoree. The Pair have seen 54 wins together and were both a part of the 2018 AMCC Championship team.

The Panthers enter the matchup with a 16-5 overall record. They are 4-2 in AMCC play, which puts them in a tire for 3rd place in the conference standings. In their last game, the Panthers swept Medaille winning the three sets 25-9, 25-16, and 25-23. Cleveland has led the Panther attack in her senior campaign. She leads the AMCC in kills (279), kills per set (3.99), and points 299. She has not been alone as two freshmen have also stepped up for the Panthers. Olivia Reese is third in the conference in kills, with 183, while Jordan Sitler leads the AMCC in total blocks (55) and has also added in 129 kills. Tabitha Walker leads the AMCC in assists with 638, while Kayla Maslowskia and Stephanie Carson are both in the AMCC top 10 in digs with 242 and 236 respectively.

Pitt-Greensburg comes to Bradford with a 2-20 overall record and a 1-4 record in AMCC play. They lost their last match at Penn State-Altoona in 3 sets. Emma Halutick is the focal point for the Bobcat attack, as she has registered 143 kills. Taylor Logan serves as the team's primary setter, registering 294 assists on the season. Abigail Lescallette leads the team defensively with 233 digs.

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena.
