BRADFORD, Pa. - It was a goal-fest for the La Roche women's soccer team against Pitt Bradford on a sunny fall Saturday afternoon. The Redhawks pulled ahead with a clutch three goal second period that broke the 1-1 tie of the first half to give them the win. LRU improves their overall record to 3-6-1 while Pitt Bradford goes down to 0-10-1.

• La Roche's Alexandra Mecchia scores a thrasher of a goal in the opening minutes of the first period with an assist by Leticia Alcaraz.

• Pitt Bradford's Alexis Gibbons answers back with a goal leading Bradford to a 1-1 tie throughout the first period.

• Alexis Nudds comes in scoring a goal with an assist from Alondra Gonzalez to make the score 2-1 La Roche.

• Alexandra Mecchia is back again as she scores a 3-1 goal with a group of assists from Carola Corbi and Alexis Nudds.

• La Roche's Alondra Gonzalez takes LRU to a 4-1 lead with a little help from Leticia Alcaraz.

• In the last remaining minutes Pitt Bradford tries to claw back as Delaney Stowe shoots in a goal with the assist from Emily Royea. The score stays 4-2 as La Roche pulls the game their way.

• La Roche's goalie Bella Costanzo walks away with her first win of the season.
