Men's Soccer Suffers Loss to Alfred State

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The men's soccer team fell to Alfred State on Saturday afternoon. The final score was 4-0 in favor of the Pioneers.

Alfred took a total of 22 shots on goal during the entirety of the game and La Roche took a total of four shots.

Casey Hulbert was the goalie for the Redhawks for all 90 minutes and he had a total of 15 saves. Thad Grierson was the keeper for Alfred and he had a total of two saves during length of the game.

For the Pioneers the leading scorer was Camren Larabee who walked away with two out of Alfred's four goals; scored at (11:35 and 66:01). The other scorers were Anthony Smith at 83:52 and Farhan Abdi at 89:42.

Before the gam Senior Day festivities went underway as La Roche honored their seniors for this season. Jimmy Wodarek, Tanner Cook, Kenneth Miller and Nick Gengarella are all seniors that will be leaving the collegiate soccer field after this season and La Roche University wishes them all the luck in their next adventures.
