Redhawks Pick Up Massive Draw Against Alfred State

Redhawks Pick Up Massive Draw Against Alfred State

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche men's soccer hosted the top team in the AMCC on Saturday afternoon in the Alfred State Pioneers and in the end picked up a huge point in the standings, ending in a scorless draw.

It was a 90 minute battle between the teams, as neither side gave in defensively, limiting quality chances.

The Redhawks would be outshot 13-3 in the game and 6-2 in shots on net, but none of the shots on goal by Alfred State were threatening.

Maddox Anderson picked up his second shutout of the week, stopping all six shots.

Three different players took a shot for La Roche, with Austin Emery and Aiden Mukanos-Kramer combining for the two on goal.

The Redhawks finish the home portion of the schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. against Pitt-Greensburg.
