Penn St. Behrend has claimed its 13th AMCC women's tennis championship in dramatic fashion and will be heading to the NCAA championship tournament in May. The win certainly didn't come easy, as Pitt-Greensburg made the Lions work for every point they got.

Stoehr led the Lady Mounties tennis team to two wins over the weekend against non-conference foes Thiel and Lycoming College. Teaming with partner Emily Goldyn, Stoehr and Goldyn won at #1 doubles 8-6 against Thiel College. Then playing #1 doubles against Lycoming College, the pair won 8-0 not giving up a game. Stoehr won both of her singles matches in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 at the #3 position against Thiel and 7-5, 6-2 in the #2 position against Lycoming, getting the Lady Mounties off to a 2-0 start.
