PITT-GREENSBURG'S SHAYLA LANDMAN HEADS TENNIS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

For the second year in a year, Pitt-Greensburg senior Shayla Landman has been named the 2015 AMCC Player of the Year. Landman helped the Bobcats to a perfect 8-0 mark in conference play, earning the top seed heading into the conference tournament. She led the conference at No. 1 singles with an impressive 8-1 mark, and also finished the regular season with a perfect 7-0 record at No. 1 doubles. She was named the AMCC Player of the Week on September 27.

Penn St. Behrend freshman Jacqueline Cannella has been tabbed as the 2015 AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Canella earned a starting spot in the lineups at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles. She posted a 6-1 conference mark in singles and was 8-4 overall. In doubles, she teamed with senior Colleen Miller for a 7-5 mark, including 4-3 in the conference. One of her doubles wins was at the No. 1 spot.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Maria Iovino of Pitt-Greensburg. Iovino led the Bobcats to a 9-2 overall record and a perfect 8-0 in AMCC action.
