    Vietmeier was the anchor in the final three baker games against Pitt Bradford to help the Mounties come from behind after being down 3-1 to win the match and clinch 1st place in the AMCC Quad Match. Vietmeier averaged 171 for a total pinfall of 513 in the team matches.

    The first two-day AMCC Quad Meet of the season, hosted by Pitt Bradford, came down to a total pin fall tiebreak for Penn St. Altoona to be declared the winner.

    Szpara led the Lady Mavs in a 4-3 week. She rolled a 370 two game total against UPB on Tuesday, she then had an AMCC best 609 series (3 games) in the team portion of the AMCC Quad.

  • PENN ST. ALTOONA WOMEN'S BOWLING COMPLETES ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE

    The Penn State Altoona women's bowling team took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in September and, in doing so, raised $80 for the ALS Association.

    Foley was named the Kutztown Invitational Tournament MVP after averaging a 205.4, the highest average of the 105 bowlers taking part in the competition. Foley bowled a team-high 226 in game one of the team format on Sunday. Pitt-Bradford finished 12th overall in the standings.
