  • Bri Heller, Pitt-Bradford, Softball (Pitcher)

    Heller was 2-1 with a 1.56 ERA while throwing her first career no-hitter for the Panthers last week. She struck out 25 batters over 18.0 innings. She threw a no-hitter with just two walks and 10 strikeouts in the Panthers win over Hilbert, and followed that up with a two hit, one run win over La Roche. She also chipped in offensively, hitting .429 with two runs, two RBI and two stolen bases.
  • Lexi Peters, Pitt-Bradford, Softball (Player)

    Peters hit .409 with a home run, six runs scored, eight RBI, and a stolen base as the Panthers went 5-1 last week. In the 10-2 win over Mount Aloysius, she was 3-for-3 with a home run, seven total bases, two RBI, and two runs scored.
  • Madalyn Maynard, Penn State Altoona, Softball (Pitcher)

    Maynard won all four games she pitched in last week for the Lions, as her team posted a 4-1 week of play against AMCC opponents Mount Aloysius and Hilbert and a single game against non-conference foe Juniata. In four total appearances consisting of two starts and two relief appearances, Madalyn compiled a 4-0 record with two complete games, a 1.84 ERA, and nine strikeouts for an average of 3.32 strikeouts per seven innings.
  • McKenna Pierce, Carlow University, Softball (Player)

    Pierce had a huge week at the plate, going 14-for-24 (.583) with three doubles, a triple and two home runs. She recorded 13 RBI and 10 runs scored on the week. In AMCC action, she was 8-for-14 (.571) with two doubles, a triple and five RBI as the Celtics went 5-1 (3-1 AMCC).

    The AMCC Games of the Week feature Pitt-Bradford at Mount Aloysius College on Monday afternoon. The Panthers enter the game in third place in conference standings with a 7-3 record, while the Mounties are 7-5 and in third place.

    Tingley registered a 1.11 ERA in a 3-0 week in the circle, allowing three earned runs and fanning 17 batters while allowing just one walk in AMCC action. She threw three complete games, including a one-hit shutout and struck out eight against Pitt-Bradford and then picked up a 5-2 win against Altoona in the Game of the Week. 
  • Sierra Williams, Penn State Behrend, Softball (Player)

    Williams hit .615/.667/1.154 in a 6-0 week for the Lions, improving the team's record to 12-0 to remain in first place of the AMCC standings. Williams registered eight hits, including five extra-base hits, and drove in 10 runs while scoring six. The centerfielder smacked three doubles and two triples and walked twice. Williams had four RBI on two hits vs. Pitt-Bradford (game two) and went 4-for-6 with four RBI, three runs scored and a triple against Altoona.

  • Kailey Stolowski, Hilbert College, Softball (Pitcher)

    Stolowski lifted Hilbert in a 4-2 week and a second place ranking in the league. She won two games including a no-hitter against Wells while earning a complete game victory in game one against Carlow. She then went on to pick up a save against Carlow in game two of the double header. Stolowski finished the week striking out 23 and currently leads the AMCC with 8.77 K/7 and 71 strike outs over 56.2 innings of work.
  • Meghan Petitte, Penn State Behrend, Softball (Player)

    Petitte tallied 13 hits, 10 runs, eight RBI, two doubles, two triples and two home runs in a 5-1 week for the Lions. She smacked a home run in each game vs. La Roche. Petitte had multiple hits in all six games this week, going 3-for-3 against Alfred in game one. She walked three times and had a stolen base. Petitte is currently on an eight-game hitting streak.

    Bone picked up her first win of the season and first NCAA win on Sunday, pitching a complete game shutout to defeat AMCC opponent Alfred State in game two of the Lions' home doubleheader with the Pioneers. She tossed five shutout innings, yielding only two hits and issuing no walks, while striking out three batters.

    McNany tallied three hits and drove in four runs while scoring three and stealing a pair of bases to help the Lions sweep Mt. Aloysius in the AMCC opener. In game two, she smacked her fourth home run of the season to score three runs.

    Tingley recorded her second shutout of the season and sixth win by allowing just three hits over the seven innings for a complete game win in game one vs. John Carroll. Tingley also registered her 100th career strikeout, fanning eight in the win.

    Stroup hit .714 as she went 5-for-7 in a split doubleheader at Keuka last week. She tallied four runs scored, two doubles and two RBI. In the 11-2 win, Stroup was 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored.

    Lindberg threw a six-hit shutout for her fourth win of the season in game two against Marietta yesterday. She fanned six in the complete game effort, as the Lions went on to win 6-0.

    Bizay had a strong week for the Redhawks over the course of their four games. In Wednesday's split of a doubleheader against Bethany, in game one's loss, Bizay still pulled through with a 2-for-3 outing at the plate with a pair of doubles and a run scored, slugging 1.333. In the night cap victory against the Bison, Bizay was a perfect 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored. Bizay followed with a strong Saturday in a split with St. Vincent. In a 10-6 game one victory, Bizay went 1-for-3 at the dish, drew a walk and scored two more runs. In game two, Bizay hit a double and plated two more runs. For the week, Bizay hit .571 with a .625 OBP and .857 slugging percentage, adding four doubles, three RBI, seven runs scored and a pair of walks.

    Clement was 3-0 last week for the Panthers, logging a 1.38 ERA while striking out 24 batters. She had two complete game wins, a 10 strikeout, one earned run performance against Westfield State, and a three-hit two unearned run performance with seven strikeouts against Crown. Clement also did her part at the plate, hitting .435 with six runs scored, six RBI, and four extra-base hits.
  • Sarah Stroup, Pitt-Bradford, Softball (Player)

    Stroup hit .600 with 10 runs scored and seven RBI as Pitt-Bradford went 6-2 to finish the week in Fort Myers. She registered six multi-hit games and had three hits in a game twice. In the 4-2 win over Emerson, Stroup was 3-for-4, with a double, while also being a part of all four Panther runs, scoring two and driving in two.

    Nau made six total appearances in the pitching circle last week in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, including making three starts. She posted a 4-0 record with three complete games, compiling a 1.84 ERA and a .97 WHIP. She pitched 26 2/3 innings and struck out 16.
  • Cameryn Feathers, Penn State Altoona, Softball (Player)

    Cameryn Feathers had a strong seven-game stretch during the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic last week. In games against Bethany, Clark, Baruch, North Central, St. Joseph, and Emerson, she combined to hit .577 (15-for-26) with eight runs scored, eight RBI, three stolen bases, one double, and one home run leading the Lions to a 5-2 record.

    Stolowski powered Hilbert to the program's first victory since 2019 after tossing her first complete game while allowing four hits, one walk and fanning 16 batters against Penn State Schuykill. She then closed the night cap with another three hitless innings against Lancaster Bible while striking out seven more batters. She opened her career with a 2-0 record, 23 stikeouts while keeping both opponents from crossing home plate.

    McNany went 4-for-6 with five RBI in a pair of wins for the Lions. She had a double and a triple for her pair of hits vs. Hiram and then smacked a home run and scored the eventual game-winning run vs. Wittenberg. McNany had a .667 average and recorded 13 putouts in the field.

    The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team hosted their annual CARE for Children clinic last week, an event where they pair with the local youth organization for a night of fun, instruction and softball.
