PITT-BRADFORD SOFTBALL HOSTS CARE FOR CHILDREN CLINIC

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team hosted their annual CARE for Children clinic last week, an event where they pair with the local youth organization for a night of fun, instruction and softball.

Pitt-Bradford softball team members and coaches worked with the children in attendance at hitting, fielding and throwing stations, before combining all the skills for a fun game.

CARE for Children is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities. This was the third time the Panthers have paired with the organization for this event.

“This is always a great night and something we enjoy every September,” said head coach Tina Phillips. “It’s so great to collaborate with the great group at CARE for Children, and it always puts a smile on your face when the participants ask us when we can do it again.”
