Former catcher for the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team Austin Parent has signed a professional contract to play for the Wasco Reserves of the Pecos League.
All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.
La Roche University starting pitcher Tristin Tinney gave the Redhawks seven quality innings in La Roche's 4-0 loss to Denison University in the NCAA Regional opener on Friday. La Roche will play on Saturday at noon against the loser of Adrian and Heidelberg.
The Penn State Behrend baseball team received their 10th overall bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII Championships, while Penn State Altoona marks their third-ever berth into an ECAC postseason tournament.

Holman opened the AMCC Tournament with a complete game victory over Mt. Aloysius on Thursday. Holman did not allow an earned run over nine innings. He gave up just five hits while striking out seven batters. He combined with starting pitchers Tre Thomas and Tristen Tinney to allow just one earned run over twenty-five AMCC Tournament innings.
Roebuck helped the Redhawks win their sixth AMCC Championship in a row and their seventh in the past eight seasons. Roebuck hit in three, walked three, homered, doubled, and walked twice in the AMCC Tournament. His home run tied the La Roche school record for career home runs. Redhawk pitching allowed just one earned run over 27 innings under his watch.

#4 Mount Aloysius College and #5 Alfred State College battled in an epic game three of their AMCC Tournament 1st round series. The Mounties rallied from an early deficit and won a 14-13 in a 11-inning contest. Mount Aloysius advances to the AMCC Final Four later this week.
Santobuono went 2-0 as he earned a victory over Pitt-Greensburg to help clinch the Pioneers spot in the AMCC tournament and then pitched the Pioneers to a game one victory in their AMCC first round series vs. Mt. Aloysius. In his 14 innings of work he had a 2.57 ERA, allowed 15 hits and two walks while striking out 18.
Smith hit .583 to lead the Mounties in two thrilling come from behind victories in the three game first round series with Alfred State. In the game one loss, Smith was 2-for-2 with a double. He followed that up with a 3-for-5 performance in the second game, including a frozen rope double off the wall in center field to score the winning run and force a series deciding game three. In the rubber match, Smith went 2-for-5 including a triple to right with two outs in the ninth that saw him tagged out at the plate trying to end the game in regulation. Behind the dish, he caught all 27 innings played without allowing a passed ball and throwing out 4-of-8 base stealers.
#3 Penn State Altoona baseball used a pair of dramatic victories on Saturday afternoon at Stewart Athletic Field to win this weekend's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament first round, best-of-three series over #6 Pitt-Greensburg. Right down the road in Cresson, PA, #5 Alfred State College and #4 Mount Aloysius College split a doubleheader on Saturday in a first round AMCC tournament series. The Pioneers took the opener 5-1 and the Mounties won a wild 14-13 game to force a deciding game three.

Professori came up big for the Redhawks in the final week of the regular season to help his team secure the AMCC regular season title and hosting rights for the upcoming postseason tournament. Professori scored at least one run in all but one game, while recording hits in six out of eight games. Professori recorded hits when his team needed them and made them count, as he recorded 11 runs, eight RBI, three home runs and seven walks in a 7-1 week for the Redhawks.
Zbezinski threw his third complete game in a 10-2 win over Pitt-Bradford on Thursday. He struck out six and allowed two earned runs to improve to 5-1 on the mound.
DeMayo had a stellar week at the plate, reaching base in 10 of his 14 plate appearances, good for a .668 on base percentage. The junior infielder went 5-for-9 with a double, triple and home run to finish the week with a .556 batting average. DeMayo picked up five RBI, scored five runs and stole two bases as well, while also posting a perfect fielding percentage in 24 total chances at both 1B and RF over the Hawks 4 conference games this past week.
