PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert INF Griffith DeMayo had a stellar week at the plate, reaching base in 10 of his 14 plate appearances, good for a .668 on base percentage. The junior infielder went 5-for-9 with a double, triple and home run to finish the week with a .556 batting average. DeMayo picked up five RBI, scored five runs and stole two bases as well, while also posting a perfect fielding percentage in 24 total chances at both 1B and RF over the Hawks 4 conference games this past week.  

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend INF Joshua Wagner hit .500 in a 3-1 week for the Lions, he had four multiple-hit games as he recorded five doubles in his nine hits and drove in seven runs while scoring five, as he also had 34 putouts with no errors at first base...PS-Altoona SS Hunter Breon had a strong week for the Lions as he hit .538 (7-for-13) with five runs scored, four RBI, two walks, one home run, and one double, as he posted a .600 on-base percentage and slugged .846...Mount Aloysius INF/OF Dan Singer went 7-for-9 in two non-conference losses for the Mounties, while also adding three walks, compiling a .778 batting average and .833 on base percentage for the week, as he reached in all six of his plate appearances against Messiah, collecting three singles, a double and three walks while scoring three runs and driving in another...Pitt-Greensburg OF Ben Green put together a great week at the plate for Pitt-Greensburg, leading the team with a .462 batting average, where he collected two doubles, three runs, and drove in seven RBI, as he also drew three walks, had two sacrifice hits, and went 1-for-1 in the stolen bases department...La Roche OF Jonathan Melendez hit .500 with two runs, two RBIs, and two triples in a 2-1 week, as he drove in the winning run in their game 2 victory over Pitt-Greensburg...Alfred State C Colin Johnson was 5-for-10 with a double, a homer, and three RBI this week in three non-conference games...Pitt-Bradford 1B Matt Hair had three hits, scored two runs, clubbed a double and a homer in the Panthers' second game at Penn State-Behrend, as his homer gave the Panthers a 5-4 lead in the sixth...D'Youville OF Kevin Sanders made the most of his extended playing time as he went 3-for-4 against Keuka with two runs scored, three RBI, and hit his first career home run in the game one loss Wolves, he then went 2-for-2 with an RBI in game two.
