Cresson, PA- Pioneers could not overcome late rally by Mt. Aloysius as they fell 2-1 in conference opener. ASC fells to 7-2 on the season and 0-1 against conference foes.
Henry Leahy netted the Pios lone goal. While Brayden Fox came away with six saves while in goal.
Leahy netted the first goal of the game in the 6th minute to take the 1-0 lead. ASC would go held to the lead into the half.
In the second half, MTA scored the game tying goal in the 64th minute. Then they took the 2-1 lead in the 73rd minute. Mt. Aloysius would hold on to that lead and win the game.
The Pioneers will be headed to Salamanca, NY on Sept. 26th for a game against Pitt. Bradford at 7 pm.
