Softball: Bison extend win streak to seven after win over Lions
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Bethany College softball extended their win streak to seven after holding on to a 5-4 victory over Penn State-Altoona Wednesday evening.

Bethany 5, PSU-Altoona 4
After a scoreless first two innings, Bethany crossed the plate first. Haley Eyler walked which scored Angela Brandel for the first run of the game. Brooke Markland hit a single which drove in two runs to give the Bison a 3-0 lead. Moments later, Mary Marshall singled to drive in Markland and Eyler. After three innings the Bison led 5-0.
PSU-Altoona slowly chipped away at the Bison lead, scoring a run in each of the final four innings. In the seventh, the Lions were down to their last out and had a run cross the plate. With runners on first and second, the Bison were able to get out of the jam forcing the Lions to ground out.

- The Bison had five different scorers.
