Hernandez, Kobak lead Women’s Tennis in loss at Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- Carlow University women's tennis lost a 7-2 contest at Juniata College Sunday afternoon.

Josie Kobak picked up Carlow's first singles victory in the No. 4 spot with a tiebreak winner, 7(7)-6(4), 1-6, 10-4. Sofia Hernandez earned Carlow's second point in the fifth singles spot with a 6-3, 6-4 win.

Nearly every Celtic won at least one game in singles, while the Eagles swept Carlow in doubles, 8-1, 8-2 and 8-3.

Carlow continues its spring season with an 11 a.m. match at Thiel College April 13.
