Men's Soccer to Wrap Up Season with Penn State-Behrend

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team will play its final game of the 2022 campaign on Tuesday afternoon as they host Penn State-Behrend.

The Panthers are 2-13 on the season with a 1-5 record in AMCC play.  Over the weekend, they were eliminated from playoff contention with a 5-1 loss to Penn State-Altoona. Rodney Walker scored the lone goal for the Panthers, while Jared Scarlett made 12 saves in the contest. Austin Hogan, Spencer Sklar, and Devin Stowe have all scored 3 goals for the Panthers this season. Stowe leads in points, as he also has an assist. Jared Scarlett leads the Panthers in goal with both the team's wins, 85 saves and a .787 save percentage. Evan Schmidt has played 4 times, making 31 saves.

The Lions enter the matchup with an 11-2-4 record and are tied with Mount Aloysius at the top of the AMCC with a 5-0-1 record in conference play. Over the weekend the Lions defeated Pitt-Greensburg 4-0. Blake Cooper leads Penn state-Behrend with 8 goals this season. Justin Hockenberger is just behind him at 7. Sam York has been a mainstay for the Lions in goal, winning 10 games with 9 shutouts. He has allowed just 6 goals and made 44 saves.
