Panthers Return Home to Host Elmira

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team will return to the Kessel Athletic Complex on Thursday afternoon, as they host Elmira in a non-conference matchup.

The Panthers are 0-6 on the season, and coming off of their toughest loss of the year. The Panthers took an early 1-0 lead at Juniata but were unable to hold on as the hosts scored once in the 26th minute and again just after halftime to win the game 2-1. Delaney Stowe scored the Panther goal from a free kick, her third tally of the season. Sadie Wood made 11 saves.

Stowe leads the Panthers with 3 goals, with 2 in her last 2 games, both coming off of free kicks. McKenna Kelly has also scored for Pitt-Bradford. Sadie Wood has played all 540 minutes in goal for the Panthers, making 77 saves.

The Elmira College Soaring Eagles enter the game with a 2-4 record. They are coming off of a 2-0 loss to Russel Sage College over the weekend. Piper Andrews has scored both goals for Elmira, taking 8 shots on the season. Rachel Bortnick has assisted both goals. Nevaeh Winston has played all 6 games in goal for Elmira, allowing 10 goals and making 40 saves.

The game will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Soccer Field on the Kessel Athletic Complex.
