Medaille College Director of Athletics Susan Roarke has announced this afternoon the hiring of David Sardo as the next head coach of the men's and women's cross country teams.
All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.
Penn State Behrend junior Savanna Carr competed in the 2019 NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The race took place at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky
Penn State Behrend once again started off the year with several AMCC championships and is in the lead for the Presidents Cup title after the fall sport season.
Carr won her second AMCC Individual Championship on Saturday with a time of 22:10.4. Carr's time beats the all-time AMCC Championship record which was set by Catie Bertges from Behrend in 2013 (22:34).

The AMCC Women's Cross Country Championship will take off this Saturday, November 2 on the campus of Penn State Behrend. Franciscan University will be looking to defend their title, as they earned their sixth overall championship a year ago.
The Hilbert College cross country program volunteered at a pair of events over the past two weekends, working the Lou Reuter Scholarship Run on October 20th in the town of Tonawanda and the Buffalo Runners Chestnut Ridge Challenge in Orchard Park on October 27th.
Crissman led the Lions at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, finishing 15th overall out of 283 runners. Crissman had her second best 6K time of the season, as she crossed the finish line in 22:08.8.
Rodgers was the Redhawks' top finisher at CMU running a season best 24:36.19, finishing 113th overall out of 133 individual competitors. Today's time is nearly a minute and 20 seconds faster than her last race at Mercyhurst on October 5th. In her first three races this year, Rodgers did not run below 30 minutes in a 6k.
Luczak had an outstanding weekend for the Spartans, helping lead the team to a first place finish at the Meghan Memorial. Luczak finished first overall, crossing the finish line over a minute better than the next runner. In addition to her first place finish, the Spartans as a whole finished first overall with a team score of 28 - 15 points better than the second place team. In the last four races, Luczak has been the top runner for the women and has been one of the top runners for the women throughout her career as a Spartan.
Bryant took 58th against DIII teams and 139th overall at the Cedarville University All-Ohio Meet, leading the team to a 12th place DIII finish with a 25:29.0 finish.
Crissman finished seventh overall out of 221 runners at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational. Crissman ran a time of 19:01.9 and led the team to a ninth place overall finish out of 19 teams.
Shelton led the Lions to win the Behrend Twilight Invite. Shelton took home first place out of 119 runners with a time of 23:15.0. Behrend finished the meet with a team score of 51 to take home first place.
