PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche F Dasja Anderson was dominant in her first two games of the season with the Redhawks. In Wednesday's victory over Pitt-Greensburg, Anderson matched a team high 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the floor, going alongside four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Anderson followed that performance in Saturday's win over Penn State Altoona, netting 27 points on 12-for-18 shooting, while adding seven rebounds, a pair of assists and a steal. Anderson finished the week shooting a remarkable 70% from the field, while averaging 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg F Tiana Moracco averaged a double-double with 11.5 points and ten rebounds to go along with three assists over two games, as she recorded a 15-point, 16-rebound double-double in a win over Pitt-Bradford...Carlow G Emiley Hillgartner led the Celtics last week, averging 17 points per game, including 25 against Penn State Altoona, as Carlow improved its win streak to five games...Alfred State F Sarah Somers led the Pioneers as she averaged 16.5 points and 12 rebounds per game and shot 56.5 percent from the field, as she opened the week with a 23 point 14 rebound double-double against Bradford then followed that up with a 10 point 10 rebound game against Carlow...PS-Altoona F Avana Sayles led the Lions' scoring efforts in a pair of AMCC games last week, as s she finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in a loss to Carlow, then poured in 21 points and five rebounds in a loss to La Roche...PS-Behrend G/F Lilly Palladino matched a season-best with 13 points in the win over Hilbert, shooting 80 percent from the floor and connecting on both triples, while also adding three rebounds and one assist.
