The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team hosts Carlow University in the AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week on Wednesday in the Junker Center at 7 p.m.

The Celtics are coming off a 98-34 win over Wells College on the road where Carlow tallied a season-high 22 three-pointers. In just her fifth game this season, Olivia Chuvala drained eight treys to lead Carlow with a career and game-high 28 points off the bench. The Celtics are 5-1 since the beginning of January. Carlow is averaging 72.7 points per game against conference opponents so far this year and shooting 65.4 percent from the foul line. Sophomore G Emiley Hillgartner currently leads the team with an average 15.2 points per game so far this season. She ranks fourth in the AMCC with an average 2.3 steals per game. Junior G Sydney Carr leads the team with an average 5.9 rebounds per game. Carr also leads the Celtics with 58 assists, 41 steals and 13 blocks, and ranks second in the AMCC with a three-point percentage of 39.1. She also ranks second in the conference with an average 4.1 assists and 2.9 steals per game. Carr and junior guard Shaelyn Clark are both averaging double figures (14.7 and 10.3 PPG respectively). Emma Aubrey made 33 three-pointers so far this year.

The Lions are looking to make it eight straight wins on Wednesday after defeating Pitt-Greensburg 88-73 on Saturday. The win streak is the longest among AMCC teams. Earlier this season, Behrend posted a 20-point win over Carlow on the road. Sophomore G Morgan Altavilla averaged a double-double with 31.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in a pair of wins last week, while shooting 52.2 percent from the field. She drained a career-high 34 points vs. Alfred State and then had her second collegiate double-double with 29 points and a career-high 12 rebounds against Pitt-Greensburg. Against the Bobcats, the Lions had a season-low three turnovers. Behrend is outscoring conference opponents on the season, 741-552. The Lions are 9-1 this season when leading at the half. Junior G Rachel Majewski has led the Lions in scoring seven times this season, while Altavilla was the top performer on six occasions.

The last time Carlow and Behrend met on Nov. 29, the Lions won 71-51.
