PITCHER OF THE WEEK: La Roche SR Alexa Young went 1-1 on the week while also earning her second career save. In 17.1 innings pitched, Young had 13 strikeouts with only three walks and a 3.63 ERA. Her best performance came in game one against Medaille on April 10th. Young pitched all seven innings, striking out eight batters and giving up just two runs to help the Redhawks to a 9-2 victory.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius FR Madison Hillard won the first game of a sweep of AMCC-rival Penn State Altoona by going seven full innings, allowing only five hits and two runs (both unearned), as she currently ranks third in the AMCC with a 2.00 ERA...PS-Behrend FR Maria Jones appeared in three games on the mound for the Lions this week for a total of 9.2 innings pitched, as she ended the week with a 2.90 ERA and six strikeouts while tallying a win against Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday...Pitt-Bradford SR Kerrigan Hoffmann was dominant this weekend while picking up her third win of the season, allowing only one hit and one walk over four innings of work, while striking out three batters in the Panthers' 9-1 win over Alfred State.
