Burge had a spectacular start to her career. In just her second collegiate start, the freshman pitched a perfect game against Bay Path, the fourth in Lady Lions history. Burge went 7 innings to allow no hits, no walks, and striking out 14 batters to tie a school single game record. She followed that by throwing another complete game victory against Keystone, allowing just one run in 7 innings and recording 8 strikeouts. Against Gettysburg, the freshman contributed 2 scoreless innings of relief. For the week, Burge pitched 16 innings and went 2-0 while allowing just 5 hits, 1 run, walking no one, and striking out 23. In the AMCC, Burge is currently ranked 1^st in ERA (0.63), tied for 3^rd in wins (2), tied for 2^nd in strikeouts (28), and 1^st in saves (1). 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius JR Kelsey Ickes pitched 22 innings with 31 strikeouts, 9 walks, 6 hits, and only 2 earned runs allowed to achieve a 2-1 record … PS-Behrend FR Rachel Miller went the full 8.2 innings against Sage to strikeout 9 and allow only 2 earned runs for the win, followed by another 7 innings against Lesley for her second win … Medaille SO Amanda Mesi pitched 11 innings to strikeout 5 and walk one while allowing only 3 earned runs  in a 1-1 week … Pitt-Bradford P Sydney Mosby pitched three complete games to tally 23 innings, striking out 16, walking 3, and allowing only 2 earned runs to go 2-1 on the week ... Pitt-Greensburg SO Meghan Uher went 1-1 for the Bobcats, collecting 13 strikeouts while allowing just 6 hits in 10.2 IP.
