Kara Rehbaum, Hilbert College Interim Athletic Director, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Craig Root as Hilbert College's newest head golf coach. Root, who brings over 18 years of teaching and golf management experience in the local community, will lead the 2018 Hawks golf program when they open their season in late August.

Four AMCC men's golf teams returned to action this afternoon in the Hilbert College Invitational. The tournament was held at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg, NY and was the final tune-up of the year before heading to the AMCC Championships this weekend.

Donoghue continued his strong start to 2017 with a 1st place finish in the Medaille College Invitational last week. Corey shot a (74), earning him individual honors by two strokes while also helping Medaille earn 1st place as a team as well. Sculley opened the season with a first-place finish at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational on Saturday, shooting a low score of 74. The senior won the playoff on the second hold to break a three-way tie for first to pick up individual-medalist honors.
