BEHREND STARTS OUT STRONG IN 2017-18 PRESIDENTS CUP RACE

Penn State Behrend, winners of five fall AMCC Championships, has started the 2017-18 year out strong in the Presidents Cup standings. The Lions picked up conference titles in men's and women's cross country, men's golf, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. Behrend collected 60.25 points out of a possible 64 total, for a league-high percentage ranking of 0.941.

Franciscan University, which claimed the women's tennis championship this fall along with exemplary post-season showings in men's and women's cross country and men's and women's soccer, sits in second place with a 0.795 ranking. Penn State Altoona was boosted by strong seasons in golf, women's volleyball, and women's tennis to round out the top three with a 0.614 percentage.
