The Penn State Behrend and Mount Aloysius College baseball teams have been awarded the 2023-24 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.

Penn State Behrend freshman third baseman David Gibson was named the 2024 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Year, while freshman pitcher Jake Manendo earned a spot on the All-ECAC Team.
The AMCC saw 15 baseball players recognized for their academic achievements on Tuesday, when the College Sports Communicators’ Association (CSC) annonuced the NCAA Division III Academic All-District team.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.

With a strong spring sports season to top off yet another impressive year by Penn State Behrend, the Lions have once again claimed the AMCC Presidents Cup title with a .925 percentage ranking.

The Penn State Behrend (29-12-1) baseball team saw its season come to a close on the second day of the NCAA Division III Regionals, falling to Adrian College (31-14) and Catholic University (33-13) Saturday afternoon.

The Penn State Behrend baseball team will head to Berea, Ohio for the 2024 NCAA Division III Regionals on May 17-19 hosted by Baldwin Wallace University.

The No. 2 Penn State Behrend baseball team won its seventh AMCC Championship in program history with a 7-1 victory over No. 6 La Roche University Sunday afternoon.

#2 Penn State Behrend and #6 La Roche University both picked up victories on the second day of the championship round of the AMCC Baseball Tournament to advance to the final matchup Sunday morning.

Day one of the AMCC Baseball Championship Tournament concludes with #2 Penn State Behrend and #4 Alfred State College picking up wins Friday morning to advance in the winners bracket.

Kinney made two appearances for the the PĂos last week. He pitched 6.1 innings for an ERA of 1.42, and six strikeouts. He help the Pioneers secure a win against Penn State Altoona in extra innings holding them to only one hit and striking out two.

Barnes went 4-for-6 (.667 average) in two games last week, recording two doubles, a home run, and four RBI. He hit his third long ball of the season and led the Lions with three runs-batted in against Mount Union in the regular season finale.

The Alfred State College baseball team survived and advanced with a sweep over Penn State Altoona in the AMCC Opening Round. The Pioneers walked off game one in the 11th 5-4, then won game two 6-5.
