Men's Tennis Remains Undefeated in AMCC Action

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team defeated Pitt-Greensburg 9-0 for a second time this season in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Sunday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* The Lions swept the doubles matches, before winning all six singles matches
* Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) and teamed up with Tyler Griffin (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone) for the first time this season at No. 1 doubles
* Laier and Griffin tallied an 8-2 victory
* Owen Sinnott (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) and Aidan Piazza (Fairview, PA/Fairview) had the best doubles win, only allowing one set point (8-1)
 * The last doubles win in the third spot went to Luke Vunora (Natrona Heights, PA/Highlands) and William Thomas (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Salem) at 8-4
* At No. 6 singles, Vunora managed a tiebreaker set victory over Cole McGurk 6-2, 6-7, 10-6
* Laier, Piazza, Thomas and Sinnott each left with a pair of wins after claiming their singles matches
* Paul Flick (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) tallied his first collegiate singles win in the sixth spot with a 7-6, 6-2 decision
