    The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced their 2016 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors team, and for the second year in a row, Hilbert College's Kylie Reinholz earned a spot on the Division III roster.

    Ramsey claimed the AMCC individual title, as she was the first runner to cross the 6K finish line with a time of 23:47.6. Ramsey also led the Lions to a first place team finish.

    Penn St. Behrend captured its sixth AMCC women's cross country championship on Saturday morning by outlasting 2014 champion Franciscan University on the Penn St. Behrend campus in Erie, PA.

    Franciscan University will look to claim back-to-back women's cross country championships, but they will have to get past the Penn St. Behrend Lions and junior Rachel Ramsey, who is a four-time AMCC Runner of the Week this season.

    Penn State Behrend junior Rachel Ramsey was named the ECAC South Division III Runner of the Week for the week ending October 11.

    Ramsey placed 3rd out of 90 runners at the Gannon/Mercyhurst Invitational. She completed the 5K course in 19:52.
  • Kylie Reinholz, Hilbert College

    Reinholz set a personal best of 23:34 for a 6K at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University. This outstanding effort placed Kylie 26th in a field of over 300 runners. Her effort led Hilbert to a 32nd place finish in a quality field of over 40 teams.

    Four AMCC student-athletes were recognized as ECAC Division III South Region Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 27.

    Reinholz returned to competition this weekend at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. With a time of 19:15.9, Reinholz finished 18th in leading Hilbert to a 15th place finish in a field of DI, DII and DIII schools.

    Ramsey led the Lions for the second straight meet with a 10th place overall finish. She finished with a time of 20:26.0 with a 6:35 mile pace at the Behrend Invitational 5K.

    Franciscan University freshmen cross country runners Joseph Gallagher and Emily Theurer have been tabbed as the ECAC South Rookie Runners of the Week for the week ending September 13.

    Theurer was once against FUS' top finisher at the Bethany College Invitational. She ran at a 6:47 pace, completing the 6K course in 25:07. Theurer finished ahead of all other AMCC runners, coming in 12th place out of 143 total runners. She also helped the Lady Barons to a sixth-place finish, highest among AMCC schools.
