PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius S Emma Pevarnik led the team in assists during a 2-2 week for the Mounties. For the week, she averaged 9.5 assists per set and registered a season-high, 49, in a five-set win against Shenandoah. Pevarnik currently leads the conference in assists per set with 9.2.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg S Emma Dongilli started all three matches for Pitt-Greensburg this past week, where she topped the 25-assist plateau in every match, totaling 90 assists and averaging just over eight helpers per set (8.18), while also chipping in on the defensive end with 40 digs...Pitt-Bradford OH Emily Cleveland led the Panthers with 26 total kills, including 13 in each match, in a pair of five-set wins this week, as she hit at a .178 percentage and averaged 2.60 kills per set...Franciscan RS Meghan Bayer averaged 3.64 kills per set and recorded 17 kills and 20 digs in four sets against Capital, while also adding three block assists...PS-Altoona OPP Lilia Farach totaled 16.5 points (2.1 points per set), 11 kills (1.38 kills per set), seven total blocks (0.88 blocks per set), and seven digs (0.88 digs per set) in three matches last week...PS-Behrend MH Alex Parra hit .550 with a match-high 11 kills on 20 attempts and no errors to help the Behrend Lions defeat Allegheny 3-0 this week...D'Youville MH Sarah Wittek had an outstanding weekend for the Spartans at St. John Fisher, helping D'Youville earn a pair of victories, as she led the team with 10 kills and four blocks in a 3-1 victory over Northern Vermont-Johnson on Friday, and then followed up by again leading the team with 11 kills and six blocks to go with three service aces as the women tallied their second consecutive win with a 3-0 victory over Wells...Medaille MB Lindsay Howell showed up to play this weekend with determination, as she earned 20 kills for the weekend with an overall average of 2.86 kills per set, the highest on the team for the weekend...La Roche OH Mackenzie Jeric had a breakout performance in the Redhawks final match at the Capital University Tournament this weekend against Oberlin, as she recorded 15 kills in five sets, the most by any Redhawk in a single match this season while recording an efficient .364 hit percentage...Hilbert DS Kayla Kuzara was very active for the Hawks earning 2.53 digs per set through five matches last week, posting her first double digit performance of 13 digs against Grove City.
