PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius OH Machala Gibbons led the Mounties to a 2-0 record this week, picking up wins over Lycoming and Waynesburg. She led her team in kills on the week, as she currently leads the conference in kills per set with 3.71. In a 3-set win at Lycoming, she had 13 kills and eight digs. In the home opener, she had a game-high 16 kills and hit .324. For the week, Gibbons recorded 4.83 kills per set and 2.83 digs per set, while hitting at a .304 clip and averaging 5.0 points per set.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford OH Emily Cleveland had a huge week with 60 kills, averaging 3.16 per set in a 2-3 week for the Panthers against tough competition, while also compiling a .211 hitting percentage...La Roche MH Ingrid Spear played a great overall game this week to help the Redhawks to a 3-1 record, recording a team leading 27 kills on an extremely efficient .288 hit percentage, while defensively, she picked up 14 blocks in four matches...Franciscan RS Meghan Bayer led the Lady Barons to a 3-1 record, averaging 3.63 kills per set with a season-high 18 kills against Chatham, while also adding 27 digs, six blocks and six service aces including four against Clarks Summit...PS-Altoona OH Jenna Bauer had a great weekend to help lead the Penn State Altoona women's volleyball team to a 2-1 record against three tough non-conference opponents, as she totaled 38.5 points (3.5 points per set), 33 kills (3.00 kills per set), 34 digs (3.09 digs per set), four total blocks (0.36 blocks per set), and three aces (0.27 aces per set), while also posting a .258 attack percentage...Hilbert MH Makenna Anastasia led the team's attackers with a .111 hitting percentage, registering four kills on 18 attempts along with seven digs and one service ace while battling through a foot injury throughout the match...Medaille S Sierra Wells continues to be a driving force on the Medaille Women's Volleyball team, as she earned six of her total 11 kills in her new-coming season and leads the team with 163 assists...D'Youville OH Carly Milleville had a strong weekend for the Spartans at the North Country Classic, including a career performance with her first career double-double with career highs in both kills (17) and digs (11) against Wheaton.
