BEHREND'S PISANO GETS 300TH CAREER WIN

The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Morrisville State Tournament held on Saturday. The Lions defeated SUNY Poly 3-0 and then fell to the Mustangs, 3-2.

Penn State Behrend defeated SUNY Poly 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-21) in match one. Sophomore Dani Kosslow handed out 21 assists, while freshman setter Liane Mooney dished out 20 assists. Senior middle hitter Alex Parra knocked down a team-best and career-high 13 kills. Sophomore Kristin Reiland added 10 kills and nine digs. Junior Madison Clapper led with 13 digs and a team-high six aces. The Lions held SUNY Poly to a .154 attack percentage and 19 kills.

Lion head coach Phil Pisano collected his 300th career win with the women's team.
