As we head into the final regular season match for 2019, the AMCC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week features two teams fighting for playoff position. Penn State Altoona, Pitt-Bradford, and Mount Aloysius are all fighting for seeds 2 through 4, which will be determined by head-to-head results. The Lady Lions and the Panthers have a lot riding on this game, as the #2 seed will receive a first round bye in the conference tournament.

Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball enters its final date of the regular season on a five-match win streak. The Lady Lions’ offense has been led by two freshmen outside hitters, Jenna Bauer and Lydia Mock. Bauer ranks eighth in the AMCC in kills per set (2.50) and points per set (3.0), while Mock is 12th in kills per set (2.37) and 13th in points per set (2.9). Mock also ranks in the conference in digs per set (3.84). Meanwhile, senior outside hitter Lauren Diller is seventh in the conference in blocks per set (0.67), and senior setter Emily Bryan is 10th in assists per set (4.13).

The Panthers head into the final weekend of competition looking to finish on a season best 4 game winning streak. Their attack is led by juniors Emily Cleveland and Riley Anderson. Cleveland is third in the conference in kills per set with 3.38 and second in total kills with 318. She has accumulated 43 kills during the winning streak. Anderson has recorded double digit kills and digs in five of her last six matches. Defensively, Laura Hildebrand is fifth in the AMCC with 4.38 digs per set, and the Panthers as a team lead the conference in total blocks, with 194.
