SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona FR Madison Coleman helped Penn State Altoona women's swimming to its first-ever win over Penn State Behrend in a dual meet on Saturday, when Altoona triumphed 132-125. The freshman had three individual first place finishes and was also part of the relay team that provided the go-ahead points in the final event of the meet. Coleman's first win of the day came in the 200 Yard Freestyle, when she earned a time of 2:05.71. She clinched a victory in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 26.11, and she sealed the trifecta by taking first in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:47.32. Coleman combined with her teammates to win the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a total time of 3:58.30, with the result pushing the Lions to a win on the day. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Marcella Puglia had a pair of individual wins for the Lions against Altoona on Saturday. She touched in 11:34.84 in the 1000 freestyle for her first victory, before winning the 50 breaststroke in 35.36...Pitt-Bradford FR Bailey Fedak won both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at the Panthers' dual meet against Wells this weekend. She won the 50 by just under 4 seconds, posting a time of 28.84 seconds and followed that up by winning the 100 with a time of 1:04.40. Fedak Also swam the anchor leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Her team placed second and shehad the fastest split for any swimmer in the event with a 27.98.
