OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville M Jordan Pachla came up huge for the women's soccer team this past week, netting two game-winners. Beginning last Tuesday against Alfred State, Pachla scored her eighth goal of the season as she netted the game-winner in the 63rd minute on a beautiful free kick. In the team's first round playoff game on Saturday, Pachla netted the game winner in the 82nd minute to lift D'Youville to a 2-1 playoff victory over Penn State-Altoona. Pachla is second on the team in goals (9), points (21), and is tied for second in assists (3).

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend F Brenna McGuire had a career game, scoring five goals with one assist for a total of 11 points against Hilbert on Tuesday, as the 11 point game beats McGuire's personal best of seven points against Alfred State last week...Medaille F Kristen Kline was spectacular in the season-finale, earning a hat-trick in her last collegiate match, scoring all three of the Mavericks' goals, including the game-tying goal in the second half and the game-winning goal in overtime...Mount Aloysius M Brianna Byler scored one goal in the week, but made it a big one -- on her lone shot of the week, she scored into the top left corner of the goal, with just over five minutes remaining in the team's 1-0 AMCC Tournament victory over Franciscan, moving the Mounties into the AMCC Semifinals...PS-Altoona M Kierra Irwin had a strong game for Penn State Altoona in its first round playoff contest at D'Youville on Saturday, assisting her team's lone goal, and leading all players in the game with seven shots attempted and three shots on goal.
