DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg D Dionna Santia made two starts and had three points on the week with a goal and an assist. Defensively, she helped keep both opponents scoreless, while holding the opposing teams to a total of three shots on goal. On offense, she had her second goal of the season off a free kick and also scored an assist on a crucial goal against La Roche with a cross.
BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona D Kylei Martin had a strong week all around to help the Lions to a pair of AMCC road wins, as she recorded an assist in Wednesday's victory at Carlow, then followed that up with two more assists in Saturday's win at Pitt-Bradford, while also being part of a Lions' defense that posted two shutouts...Hilbert GK Keira McFarland was incredible in both contests this week, achieving the first blank slate of the year vs bradford and turning away 11 shots vs La Roche, her command of her space was evident with highlight reel saves and ownership defending corners...Pitt-Bradford M Avery Benzel played a huge part in the Panthers' 0-0 draw with Hilbert, as she split time between outside back and defensive mid, making numerous crucial tackles and interceptions to keep the opponents off the board.
