DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg GK Lauren Yoder posted wins in both of Pitt-Greensburg's games this past week...Yoder made six saves in the 4-1 victory at Franciscan and recorded four stops en route to her school-record 10th shutout of the season at Alfred State...The sophomore goalie has allowed just four goals this season and currently leads the conference in wins, save percentage, goals allowed, and goals-against-average...Yoder ranks amongest the nation's best in several categories including save percentage (5th) and goals-against-average (9th).

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius D Summer Schell helped the Mounties to a 2-0 week, playing every minute on defense, as she led a defense that only allowed one goal on the week and also added an assist on the game-winning goal against Penn State Altoona, on Tuesday...D'Youville GK Laurie Poeller had another strong week for the Spartans as she made seven saves in a 3-0 shutout of Medaille for her fourth shutout of the season...PS-Altoona GK Diana Miller played the second half in Saturday's 3-0 win at home over AMCC opponent Pitt-Bradford, making five key saves to keep the Lady Lions' shutout intact, it was her team's first shutout victory of the season and it was a big win to keep Penn State Altoona alive in the playoff hunt...PS-Behrend GK Madi Jones started in goal for two games this week and recorded two shutouts over AMCC opponents, registering one save and a 1.00 save percentage.
