DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche GK Isabelle Orange helped the Redhawks to a 2-0 week, recording six saves in 180 minutes of play-time, including a 1-0 overtime victory vs. Mt. Aloysius. The victory against Mt. Aloysius is Orange's second shutout win this season and the third of her career.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg GK Lauren Yoder started both games for the Bobcats this past week against Juniata and D'Youville, recording her seventh and eighth shutouts of the season, as she made two saves in the 2-0 victory over Juniata and made five stops in the AMCC home-opener Saturday afternoon against D'Youville...PS-Altoona SO Alana Masullo helped lead the charge defensively for the Lady Lions last week, as the team allowed only two goals in a 1-0-1 week against a pair of AMCC opponents, the Lions allowed just seven shots on goal in those two games, and Masullo made her presence known all over the field throughout both contests...PS-Behrend D Taylor Mealie started two games for the Lions this week registering two assists, as she had a key role in a 2-1 win over D'Youville on Tuesday, assisting both goals for Behrend, while also playing a key defensive role in both AMCC wins this week, helping to hold D'Youville and Franciscan to one goal each and holding the Spartans to just three shots...Mt. Aloysius GK Lauren Davey registered her fifth shutout of the year, on Saturday, while also dropping her second game of the season on Wednesday in overtime, giving up her only AMCC goal in regulation this season...Hilbert GK Brianna Stegmeier posted a .800 save percentage while making 12 saves against an offensively-dominant Mounties squad during her 90 minutes of play on the week...Franciscan GK Marita Ostrich recorded 13 total saves on 15 shots on goal, including a season and career high 10 saves on Saturday against PSU-Behrend.
