AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week:
Pitt-Greensburg @ Franciscan University
Tuesday, October 15 at 3:15 p.m.

The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats (13-0, 5-0 AMCC) will travel to Franciscan University (7-5-1, 3-2-1 AMCC) Tuesday afternoon to take on the Barons in the AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week.

The Pitt-Greensburg women’s soccer team enters Tuesday’s matchup against Franciscan with a perfect 13-0-0 record and are just one of three remaining undefeated teams in the country. Offensively, the Bobcats feature the top two goal scorers in Ashley Lucas and Tiffany Michalek. Lucas leads the conference in goals (17), assists (6), and points (43), while Michalek sits right behind Lucas in all three categories, goals (14), assists (6), and points (34). On the defensive end of the field, sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Yoder has allowed just three goals in her 12 starts, and currently sports a league-best .939 save percentage as well as a 0.25 goal-against-average. As a team, Pitt-Greensburg has allowed just one goal in its last nine games and has posted five-straight shutouts.

The Franciscan University Lady Barons are on a two-game winning streak entering their home match against Pitt-Greensburg. Senior Midfielder Sarah Cocozza is coming off of a two goal performance at Pitt-Bradford and will look to continue her hot play.  Kaitrin O’Leary leads the Lady Barons in goals and points on the year and has been a focal point of the Franciscan offense.  The Lady Barons defense is led by junior goalkeeper Marita Ostrich, who has only allowed one goal in her last two matches played.  When asked about the match, Coach Bobak stated, “This game against Pitt-Greensburg is no different than the other matches we have played.  We will continue to prepare as we always do.”
