The AMCC women's soccer game of the week is a clash between the Lions of Penn State Altoona and Penn State Behrend. The Lady Lions from Altoona enter the game of the week with a 2-2-1 AMCC record, while the Behrend Lions are 3-0-1 in conference play.

Despite dropping their last outing to the conference's top-ranked team, Pitt-Greensburg, on Wednesday, Penn St. Altoona either won or tied their three games prior. Altoona sophomore forward Sadie McConnell ranks third in the conference with seven goals and is tied for second with five assists. Her 19 points on the season rank her third in conference standings. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Harmon in tied for third in the conference with 62 saves.

Behrend is coming into the game with a 4-5-2 overall record and a 3-0-1 mark in the AMCC. The Lions are currently on a three-game win streak beating D’Youville, Franciscan, and Medaille. Behrend is ranked second in the AMCC behind Pitt-Greensburg (4-0). The Lions took down Medaille on Wednesday, 3-0. Freshman Bella Sestito led the team with two goals while Cassidy Ulanowicz chipped in one. Behrend’s defense did allow a shot on goal by the Mavericks while Madi Jones tallied her first shut out of the season.
