KEN KORN TO LEAD WOMEN'S BOWLING AT HILBERT

Hilbert College Athletic Director Tim Seil is pleased to introduce Ken Korn as the new Head Women's Bowling coach.

Korn is no stranger to bowling, though this is his first head coaching opportunity at the Division III level. He is already preparing for the 2022-23 bowling season and is eager to bring bowling back to Hilbert next fall.

Korn served as D'Youville College's assistant women's bowling coach since the Saints began competition in the 2019-2020 season. Prior to his three year stint helping build a Division II bowling program, Korn helped launch a new bowling program in the Arlington School District (TX) and served as the head coach at Martin High School (Arlington). He started both the boys and girls bowling teams and led them to great success, advancing to the Texas State Finals three years in a row. The girls team set and still holds the Texas state record for highest Baker game (251).

Korn is a USBC certified coach and a USBC and PBA member. He is USBC RVP and Safesport certified and has been a staffer for Storm, Roto Grip, 900 Global, Turbo and Dexter in addition to being a member of the GBUSBC Board of Directors, serving on the Youth, Budget and Rules committees.

Korn is also the owner and operator of The Pro Shop at Airport Lanes.
