    The NCAA has announced the 2021-22 Bowling Championship Bracket. With their automatic bid from winning the AMCC Championship, the Medaille College bowling team will travel to the Erie Regionals to face their first round opponent, Mount St. Mary's.

    #2 Medaille College claimed the 2022 AMCC Bowling Championship by defeating top-seeded Saint Vincent College in the championship round on Sunday.

    Radt led the Mavericks to a second-place finish at the Daemen Classic. On day one, Radt finished second in the individual standings with a 1,044 total pinfall for a 208.8 traditional average. On day two, she led the way with a total pinfall of 926 and an 18.89 Baker frame average, earning her a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

    Radt led the Mavericks to a first-place finish at the Medaille Brunswick Classic. On day one, Radt finished second in the individual standings with a 1,011 total pinfall for a 202.20 traditional average. On day two, she led the way with total pinfall of 1,006 and a 20.53 Baker average, earning her a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

    Smith led the Mavericks in both total pinfall with 639 in 29 frames, and a 22.03 average against D'Youville. Her pinfall was 264 pins higher than the next closest Mav bowler with less frames.

    Guesman earned Tournament MVP honors in the Br. Pat Lacey Memorial. A total of 150 games were bowled during the afternoon with only three games of 200+ on a difficult oil pattern, and Guesman posted two of those three scores (225, 209).
  • Monique Koehler, Saint Vincent College, Women's Bowling

    Koehler helped to lead Saint Vincent to an 8-0 record over the weekend and the #1 seed in the conference championship. Her 203.3 average over six games was the highest average among all competitors in the AMCC Round Robin. She had a strike percentage of 53.3 (32-for-60) and a first-ball average of 9.08. She had a career-best game of 232 on Saturday against Pitt-Greensburg, then surpassed that with a 236 game on Sunday against New Jersey City University. She led all bowlers for the weekend in overall scoring, first ball average, fill percentage, and strike percentage.

    Garvey was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Red Flash Invitational after leading the Panthers to a 6-7 record and ninth place finish among Division I and II teams over the weekend. In the Traditional Format, she had the third highest average of the event, with a 203.6. She also posted the highest score of the event with a 265 in the Panthers opening win over Penn State-Altoona. She also finished with a 17.11 pin per frame average in Baker for the rest of the weekend.

    Belch led the Bearcats in a Baker dual match against Pitt-Greensburg, averaging 20.93, a game equivalent of 209.3. That total included strikes on her final two shots of the day, which were not counted in her final totals as an incomplete frame. She threw strikes on 62.5% of her shots, and converted all but one spare on the afternoon.

    Hobart and William Smith Colleges Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics and Recreation Brian Miller has announced that professional bowler and former collegiate coach Heather D'Errico will serve as the head coach of William Smith bowling when the Herons compete in their inaugural season in 2022-23.

    Strickland averaged 19.69 in her first AMCC event, the highest in the tournament. On the second day, she had a "clean" day, never missing a single pin with all strikes and spares and a Baker average for the day of 21.33. She also led the team in strike percentage for the weekend at 47.2

    Belch led the Bearcats to the title in the Unicorn Invitational with a per-frame average of 19.33 (all Baker event). Usually known for her spare shooting, she threw strikes on 50% of her shots, and also picked up a tough 4-6-9-10 split to help the team to a 4-1 record.
  • Kendyll Jaskier, Medaille College, Bowling

    Jaskier was the leader for the Mavericks at their home tournament last weekend. On day one of the tournament, she had a 198.4 traditional scoring average and had her highest score of 214 against Mercyhurst University. On day two of the tournament, in the Baker matches, Jaskier had a scoring average of 22.58. She was also selected for the All-Tournament Team.
